Please remember that building works may be going on during weekdays, and depending on what is being done, shooting may not be possible.
We are currently only allowing club members to signup for access to the members area.
Members can register using the "signup" link (in the menu on the left) or by clicking here.
Registrations could take a day or two to process.
The Mountain District Pistol club is located in Dixons Creek about 10 minutes North of Yarra Glen. The club is located on around 100 acres of natural bushland and consists of one 50m range and one 25m range. Organised competitions are held on Saturdays and Sundays, and members are able to use the facilities seven days a week.

Website hacked
The MDPC website was hacked on July 12th.
I took the site down for a while to remove infected files and update the software to (hopefully) prevent further problems.
The attack was not on the MDPC directly, but rather on the software we use to run our website.

AGM and Presentation
Members should have received their Notification for the Annual General Meeting and Presentations as well as their notification for Annual fees.
AGM is on Saturday 31st July at 2pm
Attendance is compulsory (see the calendar for more details)
BBQ Lunch will be provided from 12pm onwards.

Work Parties
Work parties every Saturday and Sunday until otherwise notified.
Youth Sport and Recreation have set a date for the Grand Opening of the Range for the end of July.
With this in mind we will be holding Work Parties each Saturday and Sunday till other wise notified.
9.00am Start BYO Food, the BBQ will be available to cook on and Tea and Coffee will be provided.
Please E-Mail the range caretaker if you can attend on any of these days.
Please note that scheduled matches will still be conducted as per the calendar. The work parties will work around the matches.

Sports minister vistics MDPC
State Sports Minister James Merlino returns to the MDPC.
The visit took place
on Tuesday 30th March 2010 on a pleasant sunny morning. Approximately 20 members/partners were at the range along with representatives from VAPA and the VRC.
The Honourable Member inspected the re-building works in progress and during morning tea refreshments announced the news that the government has allocated the Mountain District Pistol Club a further $76,000 grant towards our re-building costs.Click here for some photos of the visit
